Speech on Teachers Day

Respected Teachers and Dear Friends.

Namaskar!

Today, we gather here to celebrate a very special day, Teachers’ Day, which holds a special place in our hearts. It is a day when we express our deep gratitude and admiration for our beloved teachers, who are like guiding stars in our lives.

In India, we celebrate Teachers’ Day on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great philosopher and the second President of our country. He was not just a leader but also a devoted teacher, and his contributions to education are immeasurable. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of educators in our society.

Our teachers are indeed our role models, next to God. They not only impart knowledge but also inculcate good values, inspire us to dream big, and guide us towards success. They work tirelessly to nurture our minds and help us grow as responsible individuals.

On this occasion, let us take a moment to thank our teachers for their selfless dedication and hard work. Let us pledge to be attentive students and follow the values they teach us. In doing so, we honour the legacy of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and all the educators who shape our future.

In conclusion, Teachers’ Day is a day of gratitude, respect, and celebration. Let us cherish and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our teachers, who are truly our guiding lights.

Thank you and Happy Teachers’ Day!
